Our Services

Physical Therapy

A physical therapist is an expert in "the science of healing and the art of caring". Our goal is to correct muscle imbalances, joint dysfunctions, neuromuscular deficits and postural distortion patterns. Some of the more common diagnoses treated include: neck/back disorders, hip and knee conditions, foot/ankle injuries, sprains/strains, sports, work, & automobile injuries, shoulder pain, arthritis, stroke, hand/upper extremity disorders, and neurological conditions. We also offer In-home physical therapy.

Manual Therapy

A highly skilled form of treatment designed to assess and restore joint function and thus minimize pain and dysfunction. Manual therapy is often effective in rapidly returning the injured person to a productive status once the joint dysfunction is corrected.

Physical Performance Evaluations

A highly detailed physical evaluation designed for the athlete and young active adult to assess physical capability, determine areas of joint dysfunction, weakness, and restrictions throughout the body. Once these areas of imbalance are determined, a thorough and comprehensive plan is established for the client to improve physical performance and/or allow for optimal aging!

Functional Capacity Evaluations

A 4 hour comprehensive evaluation focusing on measuring the patient's potential for work, while clarifying appropriate physical limitations, consistency of effort and/or restrictions. An FCE is appropriate for the worker who is post-injury and whose maximum safe physical abilities need to be established.

Ergonomic Job Site Analysis

Performed by licensed physical therapists certified in ergonomics. This analysis may be indicated to modify a work area, improve safety in the work setting, or resolve any problems regarding ability to return to, or continue at the employees present job.

Work Conditioning

A 1-4 hour physical reconditioning program designed to meet the occupational needs of the individual who demonstrates the potential to return to work, but is limited due to deconditioning, restriction, or pain. A program is developed focusing on therapeutic techniques designed to reduce pain and muscular imbalances through functional, work simulation exercises specific to the occupational objective.

Sports Medicine

Sports Medicine refers to many different areas of exercise and sports science that relate both to performance and care of an injury. With the right game plan for sports injuries, from early diagnosis and treatment to full functional rehabilitation you can often safely accelerate your return to your sport.

Home Care Physical Therapy

Helping patients regain strength and functional ability in not only the office, but the home as well are key goals of Therapeutic Rehab Specialists. Our in-home rehabilitation therapies are individually developed to address each patient’s unique condition and take into account his or her goals and special needs.

Pre/Post Offer Physical Assessment

A comprehensive test given before, or after hiring the individual in which employment is conditional based upon passing the test. This ensures the former or prospective employee has the proper capability and compatibility to perform the essential duties of the position of duty they are either applying for or returning to.

Back School

Our interactive on site training class addresses workplace safety by educating employees on proper body mechanics, correct  posture, and behavioral modification. This interactive class emphasizes the employee's role in minimizing risk of injury resulting in improved safety and productivity. Classes are from 3 to 30 people.
